Three keywords that moved to page 1 in March. The actions we took then are still showing compounding returns.
Action taken: added 480 words of Field Notes content, deployed Product schema with reviews, and linked from 3 blog posts. Result: position 18 to position 7 in 4 weeks. Click traffic up from 18 to 142 per month. Conversion rate on the page improved from 1.4% to 2.8% (better-qualified buyers thanks to richer copy).
Action taken: built a sustainable apparel hub page (940 words) and internally linked from sustainable collection. Result: from outside the strike zone to position 9. New keyword now graduates into Page 1 watchlist. Apparel revenue up 14% month-over-month with this single change.
Action taken: refreshed /blog/tippet-guide with a tippet sizing reference table and FAQPage schema. Result: position 19 to position 10. Almost on page 1; addressed in this month's plan (opportunity #8) to push it the rest of the way.
If we ship the 12 actions above on schedule, May's strike-zone report should show 4 to 6 keywords graduated to page 1 and a fresh batch of opportunities surfacing as the new hub and pillar pages start ranking. The two areas to watch: (1) the new sustainable apparel content competing with Trout Republic Gear; (2) whether Big Sky Anglers responds to our category hub builds with refreshes of their own. We'll re-pull rankings on May 1 and ship the next report by May 5.
