Growth Marketing Experiment #35119
Headline copy A/B split testing
Experiment Details
The first line of text on a web page is known as the headline. The better your headline, the higher your chances are of getting users to read the rest of the page. Users tend to react to the hero text or headline text on your homepage or landing page within a couple of seconds. Try running a test using different text to see how users react. Test to see if the time on page, bounce rate, and conversion rates increase or decrease.
According to Copyblogger, only 20% of users will make it past your headline copy.
How to measure
Measure the bounce rate and page depth using Google Analytics. You can measure which variant works better by using Google Optimize to track performance.
